Frazier Outfitting operates 40 miles southwest of Creede, Colorado
at the headwaters of the Rio Grande River in an area surrounded by the
Continental Divide. Permitted access for both summer pack trips and fall
hunting trips includes the Weminuche Wilderness and the Rio Grande National
Forest. Additional private and public land access for fall hunting trips
includes the Humphries/Rio Chama Wildlife areas, and Carson National Forest in New Mexico.
We are primarily a horseback operation offering full-service camps at
an elevation of 8,000 to 11,300 feet.
Summer pack trips include the option of taking day rides from base camp
to 13,000 feet. The alpine terrain provides spectacular opportunities for
photography, wildlife viewing, nature study, fishing and relaxing.

Pack Trips.)
Fall hunting trips are carried out in quality area units. Although we
will not promise absolute success, we do guarantee an honest-to-goodness,
big game hunting experience. Our emphasis is on Fair Chase Hunts. In 1991,
1994, 1995, 1996, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010, our hunters received awards from the Colorado Outfitters Association for the "best of species elk taken" based on Safari Club scoring.

The majority of our hunters harvest quality bulls, taking 5 X 5 or better
in all hunts.
