The Colorado Wildlife Commission adopted a new big game structure
Thursday November 18, 1999 that will start next year!

The 2000 Big Game season will start with on Oct. 14-18 ELK ONLY season followed by three combined deer and elk seasons running Oct. 21-27, Nov. 4-10, Nov. 11-15. Deer Licenses will still be limited while over the counter Bull Elk licenses and limited cow licenses will be sold.
Remember the first Elk only season is limited, drawing only
so you need to contact your guide early to know which unit to try and draw to if you plan to hunt the first season in 2000.

Why a Guide Service

Guiding is a full time business to the professional Outfitter. They should be licensed, trained in First Aid and most have radios or a source of communications for your safety.
Pleasing you, the hunter, is their main objective, and they are dedicated to your comfort and success.
Comfortable camps, great food and good times around the camp fire are usually provided for you.
Your guide is an expert on the area, and habitat of the game you hunt. He can help care for your game, and cape your trophy for the Taxidermist
You may come to camp a stranger, but you will leave it with an experience of many new found friends.
Yes, hunting with the professional Guide is an adventure that every hunter should experience. It is well worth the additional cost.
