Dear Ms. Fairchild:

I would like to tell you how pleased I was with my visit to the Weminuche Wilderness this past month. As both an administrator and law enforcement officer with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, I believe that I have a good understanding of that difficult position of trying to balance the needs of multiple users while still protecting our natural and cultural resources. That is why it is so important to have the support and cooperation of those that we must regulate. I had the great pleasure of utilizing the services of Frazier Outfitting this year. I found that Sammy Frazier and his staff were not only very competent in what they do, but also very concerned with properly informing and educating their customers with the regulations and goals of the U.S. Forest Service. In my 22 years as a supervisor with TPWD, I find it alarmingly rare to see such a diligent operator among those that utilize our resources for profit. It should give you great pleasure to have such an excellent working relationship.

Sincerely,

Tim Hufstedler

Dear Sammy:

My wife, Marty, and I have experienced elk hunting with you in Colorado's Unit 76 that ranks "as good as it gets." On Marty's hunt in the black powder season, September 1994, you put her in range of a beautiful bull on the second morning of the hunt. Her trophy scored 326 net Boone & Crockell and took first place in the Colorado Outfitter's Association annual contest.

My bull came in the 1997 archery season, as he was called in to 29 yards. It was the most exciting hunt I experienced hearing him bugling and crashing in the timber.

Your reputation as the top elk guide in Unit 76 and the man to see to tag an elk is based on results. Thanks for all the good memories.

 Sincerely,

 Edgar W. Meiser

Sammy,
Attached is a picture of my bull.
Almost every day, no every day, I think back to the fun and gruesome work I experienced during the Elk hunt in Unit 76. He is at the taxidermist now but I have his antlers on top of a cabinet in the kitchen where everybody can see them.
I hope everything is going GREAT for you and all the fine folks I met out there this year!
Have a GREAT and Blessed Christmas and a fantastic New Year!

Your Friend,
Bruce

Sammy
I know you are still buried with rifle hunters, but thought I should follow up regarding my trip. Before I do that though, I did not know you were from Breckenridge and knew Rob Arnot. It might have made me book with another outfitter!!! I grew up going to Breckenridge every September to dove hunt with the Blodgett's who owned the Buick dealership there for many years. My first words were spoken in Breckenridge. I went to UT with Rob and hunt with him almost every year.

Now for the hunt. It was fantastic. I knew going in it would be a miracle if I got a bull, which made no kill just fine with me. Marty Ed and Bob were all great guides and company. I hunted more with Ed and Marty and loved them explaining what we were doing and why and also just getting to know two fine people. I had one bull in range but too many trees between us and another that was very close bugling in response to Ed but I never saw him. From a distance I saw a lot of elk, though the first three days they stayed high and nowhere close to us. Your area is beautiful and was worth the trip just to be in those mountains. Food and camp were great and your horse Splitty was very nice to me, which was important. The hunt was one of the most physically challenging things I have done in a while. I guess I am getting old.

In all I give you and your operation an A+. Good luck the rest of the year. I am trying to decide if I should try again next year. If I do, what week of archery would you recommend as my best chance for a bull.
I will be in touch.

Edward Mercer

Sam, I want to thank you for all of us for a great hunt. Your cook was excellent. The cowboys wee a pleasure to be around and of course the hunting was outstanding as usual. I will send you some pictures and a CD with pictures as soon as my wife gets out to get them printed. I have attached a picture of Sam and Oke's bulls. Steve shot a smaller bull on Tuesday, which allowed us to pack it out Wednesday morning and get on the road early. Sorry we didn't get to see you and shake your hand before we left. We did tip the cowboys who helped us pack meat out and left some $ for you with your cook (Samantha?).

Next trip will be my son Mark's hunt the year after next. Steve and Sam are already saving for that hunt. Next time I am going to make sure that I am in shape to get to the top of Pole Mountain with the boys. After hunting season I will give you a call to discuss hunting options like muzzleloading, etc.

Once again - thanks for a great hunt, and we are all looking forward to the next hunt. I hope your back feeling better. Say hi to Mary for us.

Sammy,
Our 2013 hunt was spectacular. Dave and I really appreciated the untiring effort you, Jake, Ed and Marty gave us. We were into trophy class bulls everyday and we had the pleasure to hunt with A+++ guides. Everything was better than we hoped for and we both will remember this as one of the best hunts we have ever experienced. Thanks again and hope to see you all again very soon

Sammy:
I just wanted you to know that your outfitting service was the best. This was my first outfitted hunt and I was unsure of what to expect, but soon after I met Marty, Ed, and Daylin I was immediately at ease.
They provided a first class experience I will never forget! They were ever mindful of my every need. Your camp was very comfortable, and provided all the comforts of home.
As you know, I harvested a very nice 5X6 bull and everyone worked very hard to give me that opportunity.

Deb and I are now reaping the rewards of the hunt by enjoying the wonderful taste of the elk meat. Deb also very much enjoyed her conversation with you at the trailhead after we had left. She was also very surprised to run across several mountain goats in the road after she left the trailhead.
Feel free to use these comments as you see fit for any respective clients that you have.

Ever Grateful
